The Dutchesses: These high school girls are all volunteers and are a part of a select group of girls chosen to serve as Pella’s Ambassadors. They are dressed in authentic Dutch costumes from cities and provinces in the Netherlands. Half of the girls wear boys’ costumes and half wear girls’ costumes, to give a more traditional look to the Dutch dances. These dedicated young women brought fun to the audience. You can see one of their dances in the video below.
