Join us for a fun outing on Saturday, April 20th to Washington, MO. We will meet at the Iron Spike Model Train Museum, 1498 High St, Washington, MO, at 10:15 am. Our tour will include the viewing of dozens of layouts and hear from Iron Spike volunteers about preserving model trains. Learn more about science, technology, and the history of trains at the Spike 

Model Train Museum. Enjoy learning about the history of railroads as well as get the opportunity to see vintage model trains operating ! You can learn even more about the history of trains, browsing the almost 21,000 books and magazines in the Iron Spike resource center and library. 

At 11:45 a.m., we’ll depart Iron Spike and drive 1.6 miles to John G's Bier Deck, 109 W Main St., Washington, MO, for lunch. 

After lunch we will walk a short distance down Main Street to the Gary Lucy Art Gallery, 231 W Main St. Whether working in his floating river studio, the River Rover, or in his home studio on the Missouri riverfront in Washington, Missouri, Gary Lucy captures the beauty and ruggedness of nature and river life. 

The cost of the Iron Spike tour is $5.00 per person. RSVP no later than April 6th by mailing your check to Fred Travis at 190 Skyview Lane, Labadie, MO 63055.
